I Will Make Sure Majesty Becomes A Footballer And Earn $200k Weekly Michy

Despite being an ex-girlfriend of a popular musician, Diamond Michelle Gbagonah, better known as Michy, has made it known that she would discourage her son, Majesty, from pursuing a career in music due to the general lack of discipline in Ghana’s entertainment industry.

The media personality who doubles as a musician, finds it disheartening, the lack of discipline in the fraternity and as a result, finds it difficult to support her son’s possible employment in the music industry.

According to her, playing soccer is more lucrative than performing music in the country.

The ex- lover of dancehall crooner, Shatta Wale, during an interview on Asempa Showbiz Review, underscored the financial prospects associated with soccer, emphasizing that  its potential for substantial monetary gains in comparison to the music industry.

She further indicated that football  offers a more structured and regimented environment, highlighting the discipline inherent in the sport as a crucial attribute that could contribute to her son’s personal and professional growth.

”No no no, he should go and play ball. $200,000 a week is not small money oo. The money is important to me and the discipline in football and you can a test to the fact there is very less or no discipline in show business. It comes with a lost of vice. Majesty is a remarkable young boy, especially when he interacts with people, it’s truly fascinating. He’s already showing an interest in playing the piano, and we’re in the process of refining his piano skills.

His inclination towards musical instruments and his desire to understand beats and rhythms are apparent. While I do recognize a potential future in music, I’d rather see him pursue soccer due to the strong sense of discipline that accompanies it,“ she noted.
