In Hollywood, we’re lucky to see a couple’s marriage last longer than five years. Many of us begin to pick apart their love and countdown the days and months before these celebrity couples will replace their “I do’s” with “I just don’t want to’s”. However, these couples have challenged these norms and consider their marriages life-long commitments. For better or for worse, for sickness and in health, here are six celebrity couples who have never been divorced, who took their marriage vows seriously. They inspire us and allow us to believe that true love still exists.

In an interview with the New York Times she spoke highly of Tom and his commitment through her battle. “You never know how your spouse is going to react in a situation like this…I was so amazed, so blown away by the care my husband gave me… who knew it would make you even closer?,” she said. Despite Hollywood’s endless splits, their marriage has stood the test of time in Hollywood. Tom had this advice for maintaining a happy marriage: “Don’t be stupid. I think that anybody that gets married is partaking in an act of bravery.” Aren’t these lovebirds too cute?
